May 11, 4:05am: My mother Helmi (taken in 1930). Helmi means pearl in English, the most beautiful name in my mind. She lived to reach the venerable age of 91. I miss her.

Old photos are really art.

May 11, 2:50am: My orchid started to flower again just for the Mother's Day.

They are in harmony, wild and cultivated.

the Finnish War fought between Sweden and Russia 1808-1809 during the Napoleon Wars. As a result, Finland, the eastern third part of Sweden, was established as the autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland of the Russian Embassy. We got our independence from Russia in 1917.
